Borivali Ward Office Releases July Community Events Calendar
Borivali residents can check the July schedule released this weekend by the local municipal ward office.
How we reported this

The Borivali municipal ward office posted its July community events calendar online on July 11, listing 45 gatherings across the suburb from yoga sessions to weekend markets.
Local organisers update the schedule every month to coordinate with school holidays and monsoon weather patterns that affect outdoor plans in the area.
The calendar includes weekly sessions at the Borivali West Community Centre on Gorai Road and evening walks organised at IC Colony Recreation Ground. Both venues sit within a short walk of Borivali railway station, making them reachable for commuters on the Western line.
Highlights in Borivali West
Residents near S.V. Road will find a weekly farmers market starting July 18 at the community centre grounds. The market runs from 7 a.m. to noon each Saturday and features stalls from 12 local vendors. A separate craft workshop series begins July 20 at the same centre, limited to 30 participants per session.
IC Colony Recreation Ground hosts a free tai chi class every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. through the end of July. The ground also schedules a children’s reading hour on July 25 in partnership with the Borivali Public Library branch.
Upcoming Dates and Fees
The full calendar shows 12 paid events this month with fees ranging from Rs 50 for the craft workshops to Rs 200 for a guided night trek at Sanjay Gandhi National Park’s Borivali entrance. Expected total attendance across all listed events reaches 5,200 people, according to the ward office figures released with the schedule.
Anyone can download the calendar from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation website or pick up a printed copy at the Borivali ward office counter on S.V. Road. Registration for paid sessions opens online on July 13 at 10 a.m. and closes once spots fill.
